Steve EarleThe great US singer-songwriter Steve Earle returns to Derry tomorrow (Thursday) night for the first time in almost five years to give a solo performance at the city’s Millennium Forum.

The concert is one of only two gigs he’s doing in Ireland on this European tour, the other being in National Concert Hall in Dublin tonight.

Earle has fond memories of his last visit to the Forum, in November 2009, when he played a storming gig to a large crowd.

The 59-year-old Texan is best known for hits like “Galway Girl”  and “Copperhead Road.”

A three-time Grammy winner with 14 studio albums to his name, he is also a record producer, writer and actor, appearing in film and television, including a part in “The Wire.”

Tickets for tomorrow’s concert are available from the Millennium Forum box office,  telephone 028 71 264455 or online at www.millenniumforum,co.uk.
