WATERSIDE HALF MARATHON REGISTRATION CLOSES THIS FRIDAY

watersidehalfmarathonNext month’s Waterside Half Marathon (Sunday, 14 September) in Derry is pulling in entries by the day but prospective runners should note that registrations will close this Friday, 22 August.

Immediate entry therefore is recommended and this can be done online at www.derrycity.govuk/halfmarathon or directly at race headquarters in Lisnagelvin Leisure Centre, Richill Park (02871 347695).

There is a 1,600 individual entry/100 relay limit for the popular event, now in its 33rd year, with categories for runners, wheelchairs, three-person relay and a 2K family fun run.

Entries made after Friday will incur a substantial late entry fee.
