derrygaaLavey’s Senior Football Championship clash with Magherafelt, which was abandoned at Owenbeg due to Kevin McCloy taking ill, has been re-scheduled for this Thursday at the same venue (throw-in 8.00pm).

The former Derry All-Star is recovering in Altnagelvin Hospital after collapsing on the pitch ten minutes into last Wednesday’s game.

Meanwhile, defending champions Ballinderry Shamrocks have joined Slaughtneil and Glenullin in the quarter finals of the M&L Contracts Derry Senior Football Championship  with a hard fought win over Eoghan Rua at Owenbeg.

Elsewhere, in the Intermediate Football Championship qualifiers Craigbane hit ten goals against Limavady to set up a quarter-final deciding meeting with Ballymaguigan.

In the Junior Football Championship at Banagher, Moneymore ran out comfortable winners against Doire Colmcille who now face Glack with Seán Dolans drawing Magilligan.

The refixed game between Ballinascreen and Banagher will take place on Wednesday evening at Owenbeg (throw-in 8.00pm).
