The Derry ladies under-17 development squad are this week taking part in an inter-county competition being held in Naomh Mearnog GAC in Portmarnock outside Dublin.
The 22 player squad have been training for the past seven weeks and it will be a great experience for the girls to play against other counties in a challenging and competitive structured competition that will be more about getting games and development than the actual scorelines.
The squad head to Portmarnock today with a full fixture list to complete tomorrow in the one day blitz.
