Global business process outsourcer, Firstsource Solutions – which employs over 1,000 people in Derry – has reported a PAT growth (profit after tax growth) of $9 million which is higher year-on-year by 29.7% in its consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 2014 according to the Indian GAAP.

FirstSource no.2

The results follow another successful year for Firstsource with recent accolades including Outsourcing Partnership of the Year with longstanding client Giffgaff, Outsourcing Excellence Award and a new position of 12th in the top 100 Global Outsourcing rankings.

These strong financial results are also due to significant business growth worth $36 million with existing clients and new customers including significant contract expansion with a leading US telecommunications company.

Commenting on the performance, Sanjiv Goenka, Chairman, RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group and Firstsource Solutions said; “It has been a good quarter for the company with new business wins and year on year profit expansion of 30%.

“We are encouraged by a good buildup of our business pipeline and are well positioned in number of client situations.

“We continue to focus on creating value added services in the customer management and healthcare business to enhance customer journeys and deliver growth to our clients.”
