All those involved in the making the Earhart Festival in Galliagh in Derry a “roaring success” have been congratulated by SDLP Cllr Angela Dobbins.

Cllr Dobbins states, ” This year’s Earhart Festival can only be hailed as a success and to be returned to its former location of Galliagh was just wonderful.  ”

“Ollie Green, Marty McGreneghan, Michaela and the red shirt team must be congratulated for bringing the communities together for a joyful and  funfilled week of events.

“The finale, a parade of colour and music was just spectacular.

“This festival catered for both young and the not so young and the crowds that attended proved its success.”

Cllr Dobbins concluded: “Well done again, Ollie and all the team.”
