COMMUNITY ALERT: HAVE YOU SEEN CAR STOLEN IN CREEPER BURGLARY?

Van torcedPolice in Derry are seeking assistance in locating a car that was stolen in a creeper burglary in the Waterside area of the city at the weekend and which has not yet been located.

The black Toyota Avensis was stolen from Deanfield, off Limavady Road, in the early hours of Sunday last after thieves gained entry to the house and stole the keys.

Reports indicated that the car was seen in the Ebrington area shortly before 2.00am that morning.

A PSNI spokesperson asked anyone who has seen the car, which has an EKZ registration, being used or parked up is asked to call the detectives at Strand Road on the 101 non-emergency telephone number.

Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
