Cherie, Francis and baby Harry Chivers presenting a cheque for £800 to Neonatal staff, Charlene McDowell, Nursery Nurse and Angela Hughes, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.

Cherie and Francis Chivers made their wedding day a special one of the Neonatal Unit at Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry.

The couple recently got married and decided to make a donation to the Neonatal Unit instead of providing favours at their wedding in appreciation of the care and support the family received when their son, Harry, was born prematurely.

Family and friends in attendance at the wedding also contributed to the donation.

As a result the couple donated £800 to the Neonatal Unit.
