The man who went missing after being involved in a car crash in the early hours of yesterday morning has contacted his family, police have said.
Connor O’Kane (22), from Dungiven, went missing after the car he was driving was involved in a collision on the Draperstown Road near Tobermore shortly after 1.00am.
His car had sustained serious frontal damage, but he was not there when police arrived.
His family and police had expressed concern about his wellbeing after a passenger in the vehicle, who had sustained a head injury, did not know of his whereabouts.
