Action from last year’s Quigley-McDowell Memorial Cup final between Celtic Swifts and Finn Harps.

Entries are being accepted for the annual Tony Quigley/Shakes McDowell Memorial Cup which will kick off at Magee Playing Fields, Duncreggan Road in Derry on 28 July next.

The competition has proved popular with local football fans in the North West in that it is nine-a-side played on a full-size pitch with no offside – making for end-to-end action and plenty of goals.

The event regularly attracts top teams from the region – last year’s final saw Celtic Swifts defeat Finn Harps in a very competitive final.

The competition is limited to 16 teams with entry fee £60.

For more information contact Gareth on 07720713462 or Dermot on 07514280501.
