BLICK STUDIOS TASKED WITH CREATING 50 JOBS AT EBRINGTON

ebringtongalleryBlick Studios has been confirmed as the operator of the Creative Hub at Buildings 80 and 81 at Ebrington in Derry, bringing the creation of 50 jobs at the Waterside site a step closer.

Blick Studios will manage the Creative Hub, securing tenants from a variety of creative disciplines, including design related industries, expressive industries, and media and information industries.

Announcing the appointment of the Creative Hub operator, Philip Flnn, Ilex chairperson, said: “This is a key development in the ongoing regeneration of Ebrington. Blick will manage and operate the Creative Hub, seek tenants, attract inward investment through their strong connections with creative businesses, and ultimately, help achieve 50 jobs for the hub.”

Christine James, managing director of Blick Studios, said the company was “excited” to be expanding its services to Derry an work with the “local creative community” and businesses to build a “thriving and vibrant creative hub in the beautiful setting of Ebrington.”
