Tribute has been paid to those behind the first ever Music City events staged in Derry at the weekend.

Sinn Fein Cllr Kelly said: “I have to say, hat’s off to all those involved in organising the Music City events which took place over a 24-hour period at the weekend, particularly the large number of people involved in pulling it all together and making it possible.

“From the Dawn Chorus at Grianan of Aileach to the venues right across the city centre there was an abundance of musical talent on show.”

Cllr Kelly concluded: “There was an excellent atmosphere with all the stalls, music and for once we were blessed with good weather.”
