Several thousand pounds of damage has been caused to a car in the Creggan area of Derry.
The damage was caused while the silver Honda Civic was parked at Rathkeele Way between 9.30pm on Sunday last and 8.30am yesterday morning day.
When the owner returned to the vehicle, he found the passenger side front and rear door panels had large dents in them.
The driver’s side rear door had a large dent and the rear bumper was also damaged.
A PSNI spokesperson asked anyone with information to contact police on the non-emergency number 101 or by calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
