A 31-year-old man is being treated in hospital after he was seriously injured after being attacked in Co Derry in the early hours of this morning.
The incident occurred at around 3.15am in the High Street area of Draperstown.
Two men, aged 23 and 28, have been arrested in connection with the attack and are currently in custody assisting police with their enquiries.
A PSNI spokesperson asked anyone who witnessed the assault or anyone to contact police at Magherafelt Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.
