FORMER “MISS DERRY” ASHLEIGH ENTERS “BIG BROTHER” HOUSE

ashleighcoyle4Former “Miss Derry” Ashleigh Coyle has become the latest Derry contestant to enter Channel 5’s “Big Brother” house.

The 18-year-old, who was crowned “Miss Derry” last year, was one of six contestants to go into the house last night.

The first 10 housemates had entered the house the previous night.

Before meeting up with her housemates, Ashleigh, who works part-time in the Yellow Moon boutique in Derry’s Richmond Centre, told presenter Emma Willis she would miss her family and boyfriend.

Earlier, she revealed she was bad tempered and when asked how she planned to keep it under control, she said she intended to “take time out” and “take a breather.”

It was also revealed her worst trait was that she talked about herself too much.

She also said she sometimes forced her opinions on others.

She said: “I usually think I am right.”

Adding she was “quite bubbly and girlie,” she added: “People might think I am a wee bit dipsy but I am not stupid.”

Ashleigh follows in the footsteps of last year’s Derry housemate, Conor McIntyre, who walked away from the show with £50,000.
