Macmillan Cancer Support is calling all walkers throughout the North West to join a unique challenge to participate in the first ever Macmillan “Onesie Walk” in Strabane.

Walkers will gather from 11.30pm at Town Hall car park in the town this Friday ahead of the five-mile walk setting off at midnight.

Paul Sweeney, Macmillan area fundraising manager, said the event promised to be a “great night out” with loads of freebies for everyone.

He added: “We have had an incredible response but I would like to encourage all people in Strabane to participate in this fun event.

“Your support will make a difference to people living with cancer in the Strabane area.”

Macmillan is challenging all walkers to raise a minimum of £25.

All funds raised will stay in Strabane to support people living with cancer.

All walkers will receive a “goodie bag.”

For further information and sponsor forms contact Josephine McGinn on 07519624906 or Jim McIntyre 07596595622.

Registration on the night is available at a cost of £10 per walker.
