claudyfamilyThe family of the late John Logue, from Claudy, recently raised £1,045 to help the Sperrin Unit at Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry continue with the great work they do in caring for their patients.

John was cared for in the Unit for over six years and his family made the generous donation to show their gratitude for the care and treatment he received.

John’s family held a cake sale, car boot sale and received kind donations from the local community in Claudy, Feeny and Dungiven.

John’s wife Marie, daughters Kelly, Bernadette and Anita and his son John, along with his four grandchildren Patrick, Callum, Adam and Caitlin, presented the donation to staff from the unit, Lisa Harrigan, Staff Nurse; Silvia Cole, Haematology Nurse Specialist and Aisling McGarvey, Staff Nurse.
