GOLF: BIG WEEK FOR ALL GOLFERS AT CITY OF DERRY OPEN WEEK

cityofderrygolfclubCity of Derry Golf Club’s 41st Annual Open Week will tee off this Saturday, 31 May, with the McFeeley Cup Open Stableford, a competition that always attracts a big entry and includes a section for the Ladies as well.

The Samaritans will benefit from the Sunday Stableford while Kelly Fuels will host their Stableford Open on Monday with the prize giving for the first three competitions taking place on the same evening at 10.00pm.

The River Inn Bar and Restaurant will host their very popular Ladies Open on Tuesday next, 3 June, with the presentation of prizes taking place that evening at 9.30pm.

The Wednesday and Thursday Opens (4 and 5 June) will be sponsored by  local hotels The Everglades and the City Hotel respectively.

The Mixed Foursomes on Friday, 6 June, will be hosted by the Campsie Paper Company.

The O’Doherty Brothers will be the sponsors for Saturday’s (7 June) competition with a special section for the ladies.

The week will come to a close on Sunday, 8 June, with the Jack Logan Open Cup.

Ladies are advised the Monday, Wednesday and Thursday competitions will be held over the first 13 holes and the entry fee will reflect that fact.
