Derry City kept the pressure on 4 Lanterns Ulster Senior League leaders Cockhill Celtic with a 2-0 win over Bonagee United.

Raymond Foy and Ryan Curran scored the goals that keep John Quigg’s team tucked in three points behind Bucnrana side Cockhill Celtic, managed by former Derry City striker Donal O’Brien, with a game in hand as the league heads for the halfway stage.

Derry can close the gap on Tuesday night when they travel to take on Finn Harps Reserves.

On Sunday next, they will play host to Letterkenny Rovers while Cockhill travel to take on Bonagee United.
