Cobh Ramblers 0 Finn Harps 2

Finn Harps got back to winning ways with a comfortable 2-0 win over Cobh Ramblers in their Airtricity First Division clash at St Colman’s Park tonight.

Goals from Pat McCann fired Harps in front in the 17th minute and defender Damien McNulty wrapped up the three points in the 57th minute to end a winless streak that saw Ollie Horgan’s side pick up just two points in their previous six league games.

The victory moves Harps 10 points clear of Ramblers who remain rooted to the bottom of the league on two points.

The Ballybofey club are now in fourth place on 12 points but way behind runaway league leaders Shelbourne who top the table on 23 points, seven ahead of second-placed Wexford Youths whose game with Longford Town was postponed.
