City of Derry Spartan Alan Bogle.
City of Derry Spartan Alan Bogle put in another impressive performance to win the fourth race in the Hill & Dale Series held last night at Slieve Binnian in Co Down.
From the start, Bogle kept in touch with race three winner Ian Bailey, overtaking the Newcastle AC runner in the latter stages to take the tape in a time of 22.23.
The ladies race was won by Diane Wilson, of Dromore AC, in a time 27.42,.
Shileen O’Kane (Lagan Valley AC) came second in 28.16 with Gillian Wasson (Springwell Running Club) third in 29.14.
Nearly two hundred athletes took to the starting line of the event, hosted by Newcastle AC.
