The late Siobhan Hutcheon.

The late Siobhan Hutcheon.

The border village of Muff will today gather to say a sad farewell to the young Derry mother killed in a horror crash last weekend.

Siobhan Hutcheon (38) was killed instantly when the car she was driving was involved in a collision with a bus near Newtowncunningham on the main Derry to Letterkenny Road on Saturday afternoon.

Her three children, who were in the car at the time, were also injured in the crash.

All three were taken to Altnagelvin Hospital from where one was later transferred to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast where he has since underwent surgery.

They had been travelling to spend the bank holiday at the family’s mobile home in Kerrykeel when the collision occurred.

Siobhan’s remains will be taken from her home at Ardmore Manor at 10.20am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in the nearby Sacred Heart Church.

Burial will take place immediately afterwards in Derry City Cemetery.
