JUNIOR FOOTBALL: WESTBANK ON COURSE FOR SML LEAGUE AND CUP DOUBLE

Westbank United remain on course for a league and cup double following a comfortable win over Tristar in the semi-final of the Blue Riband Cup in the Rath Mor Pre MOT Centre North West Saturday Morning League.Football

With the Premiership title secured, United defeated Tristar 4-1 and will now meet Creggan Celtic in the final following their 3-0 win over Strabane Celtic in the other semi.

Elsewhere, Collon Celtic closed the gap at the top of the Championship table with a comfortable 5-1 win over league leaders Gransha Institute.

The Pennyburn side are now five points behind Institute, having played a game less.

HML secured the First Division title with a 6-2 win over City Colts.
