The PSNI has taken the unusual step of promoting a road safety video made by the Belgian Road Safety Institute in which reckless drivers attend their “own funeral.”
The Institute invited a group people to ask family members or friends to a special service at which loved ones – standing beside a coffin – talk of their loss.
The PSNI in Limavady has posted the video on their Facebook page.
A message of the page says: “Seen this post on Facebook and thought we would share it . Hard hitting video with an important message to speeding drivers. Grab a hanky before you watch it.”
