The Castlederg PSNI Neighbourhood Policing Team will be in attendance at an open day on the premises of L. W. Surphlis (general merchant), Drumlegagh, Newtownstewart on Wednesday next, 9 April, between 3.00pm and 9.00pm.
A PSNI spokesperson said police would be available to mark trailers for local farmers and a crime prevention officer would be available to offer advice
The spokesperson stressed trailer-marking was a successful anti-theft measure and was free for those who wished to avail of it.
