Derry City are drawing 0-0 at half-time with defending champions St Patrick’s Athletic in their SSE Airtricity Premiership clash at Brandywell.

In a half of few clear cut chances, the visitors were the better side in the first 45 minutes forcing several saves out of Gerard Doherty, back in the Derry line-up after missing last week’s 1-1 draw at Drogheda.

Referee Paul McLaughlin ignored shouts from St Pat’s for a penalty the 13th minute when Fagan went down in the box under a challenge from McBride.

Doherty showed no signs of the injury that saw him miss that clash at Honky Dory Park when he stretched to save from ex-Derry midfielder Killian Brennan in the 35th minute.
