A top class field is expected to line up for the start of the St Patrick’s 5k taking place in the confines of Gransha grounds today.
Hosted by City of Derry Sparta AC, the annual event is aimed at both recreational and competitive athletes, and should therefore attract a sizeable number of participants.
Top quality athletes such as Declan Reed (City of Derry), Scott Rankin (Foyle Valley AC), Emmet McGinty (City of Derry), Adrian McGowan (Foyle Valley), Sarah Lindsay (Foyle Valley, Anne Paul (City of Derry) and Jackie McGinley (City of Derry) should be among the frontrunners.
