The Arts Council of Northern Ireland and Derry City Council have extended the deadline to the City of Culture Legacy Fund valued at £900,000.

The new closing date for applications has been agreed as Thursday, 3 April next.

Funding decisions will be made by the end of June and successful projects will begin from July 1st 2014.

Oonagh McGillion, Legacy Development Officer for Derry City Council said the closing date had been extended to allow for additional time to help facilitate groups and organisations to submit quality applications from the £900,000 available fund over the three year period.”
