Police are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing a man who attacked another man in the Galliagh area of the city at the weekend.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police want to speak to anyone who saw a man being assaulted by another male at the junction of the Glengalliagh and Fern roads around 5.50pm on 2 March.”
The spokesperson asked anyone with information about th incident to contact police on 0845 600 8000 or a member of their local Neighbourhood Team directly – details can be found on the PSNI website.
Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they could contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
