Letterkenny Courthouse.

Thomas Kelly, from 13 Knockena, Whitehouse, appeared at Letterkenny District Court charged with assault causing harm and criminal damage at Churchview Street, St Johnston on 22 September last year.

Garda Alan Harrington told the court an arrest warrant had been issued for the accused man after he had failed to appear at a previous court hearing.

Garda Harrington told the court Kelly had been to St Johnston on four or five occasions over a two week period and this was a breach of bail conditions that he should have no contact, directly or indirectly, with the alleged female victim and her mother.

Releasing Kelly on bail, Judge Kelly instructed the 27-year-old to sign on at Buncrana Garda Station every Wednesday and to have no contact with two named individuals.
