Miss Lucille hit the jackpot in the Lotto 500 Managers Select Final, the feature race at tonight’s meeting at Brandywell Stadium in Derry.Irish Derby Greyhound Racing 9/9/2006

The Niall McDaid owned and trained winner came home in a time of 29.10 seconds to win by a short head from second-placed Belgrave Abi, owned and trained by James Morgan.

Results from tonight’s eight-card meeting were:

Race 1 (300 yards): 1, Make a Move 6/4 fav; 2, Keady Brae Lor 2/1. Time: 17.30. Distance: 5.5 lengths.

Race 2 (300 yards): 1, Tartan Abu 3/1 fav; 2, Sticky Vehicle 4/1. Time: 17.43. Distance: 2.5 lengths.

Race 3 (300 yards): 1, Cromlech Carlin 1/1; 2, Ballymac Legend 4/1. Time: 17.00. Distance: a neck.

Race 4 Lotto 500 Managers Select Final (500 yards): 1, Miss Lucille 4/1; 2, Belgrave Abi 2/1. Time: 29.10. Distance: a short head.

Race 5 (500 yards): 1, Garlyn Mac 2/1; 2, Mineola Prof 1/1 fav. Time: 28.76. Distance: 3.75 lengths.

Race 6 (525 yard): 1, Any Excuse 2/1 fav; 2, Conors Talent 4/1. Time: 30.05. Distance: 6.5 lengths.

Race 7 (500 yards): 1, Backdoor Bucko 4/1; 2, Ballyhill Accord 2/1 fav. Distance: 28.70. Time: 28.70. Distance: 7 lengths.
