Institute’s Coca Cola Intermediate Cup clash with Derry neighbours Newbuildings United goes ahead at Drumahoe this afternoon.

The match  had been in doubt but following a pitch inspection this morning the Riverside surface has been given the all clear.

No doubt, Stute manager Paul Kee will be looking to Stephen O’Flynn to produce the sort of form he has shown since joining the Derry side during the winter “transfer window.”

The former Derry City striker’s hat-earned Kee’s side a 3-2 over Larne’s Crumlin Star in the last round.

This afternoon’s game is a chance for Institute to gain revenge over Newbuildings following their defeat in the North West Cup Final in which the Drumahoe side lost 3-5 on penalties after the game ended 2-2.
