TRIANGLE STREET LIGHT IMPROVEMENTS “WITHIN IN NEXT WEEK”: MEEHAN

A pavement clean-up and street lighting improvements are to begin shortly in the Triangle area of the Waterside, Sinn Fein Councillor Bridget Meehan has said.

Welcoming news that the Department for Social Development has made funding available for “much-needed” work, Cllor Meehan would “certainly enhance” the area for residents.

Cllr Meehan said: “The Triangle is an area within the Waterside Neighbourhood Renewal Area and as a member of the local board I will be seeking out future funding opportunities for the Triangle to ensure the area gets its fair share.

“The clean-up and improvements will take place throughout the Triangle and will certainly enhance the area for residents.”

Cllr Meehan concluded: “The project is scheduled to get underway within the next week.”
