The Western Health Trust is to hold a “Carers Event” next month for carers and anyone who looks after an older person with mental health difficulties or dementia.
Being held in partnership with the Public Health Agency and Mindwise, the event will take place from 10.00am to 4.30pm on Friday 29 May at St Columb’s Park House in Derry’s Waterside.
A spokesperson for the organisers said: “We will be offering carers various relaxation facilities including reflexology, massage, facial, nails as well as information stands on Services and Carers Support.”
The spokesperson concluded: “Spaces are limited, so if you would like to secure a place for a treatment or would like further information please contact Fiona on 07918691796.”
