Institute kept their hopes of playing in next season’s Premiership alive with an impressive 6-1 hammering of promotion rivals Larne at Drumahoe.

Steohen O’Flynn.

However, Paul Kee side’s had to do it the hard way as they had to come from behind after Robbie White successfully converted a second minute penalty.

The Derry side showed no signs of a hangover from last week’s disappointing 1-1 away draw with bottom club Coagh United as they fought back to run out easy winners with Michael McCrudden the star man, banging home a hat-trick.

Former Derry City striker Stephen O’Flynn looks like being a “bargain buy” as he added another to goals to the one he registered on his debut against Coagh.

The rout was completed by Stephen Parkhouse.
