Townsend Rocket blasted to victory in the North West Greyhound Owners and Breeders Association (NWGOBA) Sprint Final at Brandywell Stadium in Derry tonight.
Owned and trained by John Joseph Porter, the winner came home at 3/1 in a time 17.20 seconds with two lengths to spare over 7/4 second-placed Ballymac Legend, owned and trained by William McCurdy. Favourite was the Adrian Doherty and Trevor Sinclair owned and trained Lau Sav at 1/1.
