The two sisters who died in a house fire in Letterkenny in Co. Donegal this morning have been named as Jody and Angeline Brogan.
They died after a blaze broke out at their Ceannan View home at around 11..00am.
One of the sisters was pronounced dead at the scene while the other passed away a shortly time later in Letterkenny General Hospital.
A man in the house had managed to escape the blaze without injury and raise the alarm.
Gardai believe the fire began in the front living room of the house and spread to the bedroom upstairs where the girls were.
