A Derry haulage firm has been fined a total of £600 for failing to produce tachograph charts.
James A McHugh Ltd, 20 Carnmoney Road, Eglinton was fined £100 for each of six counts of failing to produce tachographs and was ordered to pay court costs and an offenders levy.
As a result of DVA Enforcement Officers carrying out an in-depth investigation, James A McHugh Ltd were asked to produce tachograph charts for six of their vehicles.
The company failed to produce the charts and was prosecuted.
The charges were brought before Derry Magistrates Court under the Passenger and Goods Vehicle (Recording Equipment) Regulations (NI) 1996.
