HIJACKED CAR ABANDONED IN BOGSIDE

Police in Derry are appealing for information following the hijacking of a car in the Waterside area of the city.

A red Vauxhall Vectra, registration TLZ 3019, was hijacked by two men in the Bayswater area around 2.00am on Monday last 16 December and found abandoned with the lights on in Glenfada Park in the Bogside around 2.45 am the same morning.

A PSNI asked who saw the car being driven between those times or anyone who had any information about the incident  to contact police on 0845 600 8000.

The spokesperson added: “Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
