Watty Graham Park in Glen will today host a unique double bill of  Derry Vocational Schools football finals.derrygaa2

The finals of the under-14 and under-16 competitions will feature four schools from right across the county.

In the under-14 final at 11.45am, St Mary’s (Clady) take on St Colm’s (Draperstown)  (11.45am) and promises to be an exciting encounter given both teams featuring players from the Bellaghy and Ballinascreen clubs.

St Pat’s and St Brigid’s (Claudy) take on St Paul’s (Kilrea) in the under-16 final (throw-in 1.15pm) in  a repeat of the under-14 final of 2011 – a game which St Paul’s emerged victorious.

The Claudy boys beat Kilrea by two points in the group stages earlier in the year, setting up what looks like another tight encounter, notable for being Claudy’s fourth final in five years at this level.
