GAA: NEW LOOK TO COMMITTEE AT STEELSTOWN BRIAN OG’S

There is a new look to the committee of Steelstown Brian Og’s following the club’s annual general meeting held yesterday.steelstowngaa

Tony Jackson has replaced Michael Heffernan as chairperson.

It is one of seven changes to the committee with Paddy McGurk replacing Sean Heraghty as vice-chairperson.

Ann Lindsay is assistant secretary after vacating the secretary position which has been taken up by Brendan Doherty.

Gerard Doherty and Orlaith Logue are the new male and female youth  officers, replacing Mark Rabbett and Brid Moore.

Martin Dunne takes over takes over from Dominic Concannon as coaching officer.

Grainne Concannon was unanimously voted merchandising officer, a new position proposed by outgoing chairperson Michael Heffernan.

The new committee is:

Chairperson: Tony Jackson

Vice Chairperson: Paddy McGurk

Secretary: Brendan Doherty

Assistant Secretary: Ann Lindsay

Treasurer: Brendan Maguire

Assistant Treasurer: Brian O’Connor

Registrar: Don O’Donnell

PRO: Conán Doherty

Facilities Development Officer: Vincent McMonagle

Clubhouse and Grounds Co-Ordinator: Hugh Boyle

Officer for Irish Language and Culture: Máire McKeever

Coaching Officer: Martin Dunne

Youth Officer (Male): Gerard Roarty

Youth Officer (Female): Orlaith Logue

Delegate to Ladies Board: James McGurk

Fundraising Officer: Louise Davis

Merchandise Officer: Grainne Concannon.
