A number of homes in the Northland Road area of Derry have been evacuated as a result of a security alert in the area.
Police are currently in attendance at the scene where a suspicious device has been left on a bus.
Bomb disposal experts are also at the scene.
A number of residents have been moved out of their homes in the Springvale Park area.
Several hundred staff at the nearby First Source call centre have also been evacuated.
The Northland Road has been has been closed between Branch Roundabout and Springtown Road and police are advising motorists to avoid the area.
