FAMILY CAR STOLEN IN “CREEPER” BURGLARY

Detectives in Derry are appealing for information following a “creeper” burglary which occurred in the Waterside area of the city in the early hours of yesterday morning.creeper

Some time between 2.30am and 3.30am a house in Prehen Park was entered and, while the family slept, a Samsung Galaxy Tablet, a “My Little Pony Castle'”which was still in its original packaging and a grey Ford Focus, registration number WG06 WMY, were stolen.

The Ford Focus was found burned out at 8.20pm that evening at Ederowen Park in the Galliagh area.

Detectives would ask anyone who may have seen the Ford Focus between 2.30am and 8.20pm or anyone who has any information to contact them at Strand Road on 0845 600 8000.

Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
