Gardai in Donegal are appealing for information following a report of  a “suspicious approach” to children on the Derry-Inishowen border.garda

The incident at Bridgend is one of two in Inishowen being investigated by Gardai.

The first occurred between 3.00pm and 5.00pm on Monday last in Bridgend when a man in a small silver/grey car reportedly approached children.

The second  occurred later the same day when a man, again in a small/grey car, reportedly approached children at around 7.00pm in the Mulberry Avenue, Buncrana.

Gardai say the incidents “may or may not be linked” and are asking anyone in either areas or who thinks they may have information to contact Buncrana Garda Station, telephone (00353) 74 932 0540 or on the Garda Confidential Line, telephone 1800666111.
