The Strabane man is currently facing court proceedings charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm to a man in the city.
The incident is alleged to have occurred on 10 December last year.
The star striker, the league’s top goalscorer this season, did not appear at Derry Magisitrates Court on Wednesday last when the case was adjourned to 30 September next when he is expected appear in court.
Tonight’s game will kick-off at 7.45pm and will be broadcast live on local radio station Drive 105.
