FANS of the Walking Dead are being encouraged to come along to the Alley Theatre in Strabane to enjoy an experience with the land of the dead when Zombie Nights – The Arts Academy latest Halloween Pantomime comes to the venue.
After the huge success of ‘Mulan’, ‘Spook House’, ‘Sleepy Hollow’ and the wonderful originals ‘Gutz’, ‘Balo Balo’ & ‘Time’,The Arts Academy team draw upon their considerable experience to produce the frightfully fun production at The Alley Theatre on from Thursday 25th, Friday 26th and Saturday 27th October.
The show will feature an all-star cast of original local talent and a live band and is a pantomime the whole family will love.
David Oliver from the Arts Academy speaking ahead of the show said: “The show is directed by Eileen McGarrigle, includes numerous wonderful singers and has some local performers that will have you in stitches!’
“This doo-wopping musical pays great tribute to classic horror flicks like “Night of the Living Dead and “Cemetery High.”
Howie, Louise, Gary and Phoebe are in charge of the annual senior class party “Zombie Night,” Located in an abandoned farmhouse by an old graveyard, once occupied by the creepy, crawly Dr. Thanatos, who tried to re-animate the dead (gulp!).
All is not as it seems? We soon discover why — zombies! While the decorations go up, the zombies shuffle from the graveyard. Cosmic cannibals! It’s zombies versus students.
This is a real family show that everyone will enjoy, full of audience interaction, dance, music and of course Halloween theme tunes that everyone will remember.
Come dressed to impress in your best Halloween costume and join us for a ‘Zombielicious’ show.
