FAMILIES out and about and looking for some fun activities over St Patrick’s Day and the Easter holidays are encouraged to book tickets for the Brick Wonders LEGO exhibition currently on display at the Nerve Centre.
The Brick Wonders exhibition showcases not only the Seven Wonders of the World but a range of ancient, modern and historic exhibits such as the Taj Mahal, the Great Wall of China, the Great Barrier Reef and Niagara Falls, and remains open in Derry until 2nd May.
The exhibition has been proving a major hit with local LEGO fans who have been flocking in their thousands to see the array of iconic landmarks in recent weeks.
So as an extra treat and in keeping with the St Patrick’s Day celebrations and Easter holidays, a series of films will also now be available for families to view during their visit to the exhibition.
The films will run from Thursday March 17th until March 29th, with screenings at regular intervals throughout the day – just check online to find out what’s on show.
Fans will also be delighted to hear that while there has been serious demand for places on the series of masterclass workshops led by LEGO legend Guy Bagley, a very limited number of places are now available at 10am and 4pm on Saturday March 19th.
Due to exceptional demand these additional places are expected to fill up fast – so get booking!
Encouraging the public to book tickets for the Brick Wonders exhibition in advance to avoid disappointment, Oonagh McGillion, Legacy Director with Derry City and Strabane District Council, said the exhibition is a must-see for families looking for something interesting to do over the holiday period.
