Derry City Reserves travelled to Traigh-a-Loch. yesterday for a backlogged League Cup game against Fanad United and came away with the win that moves them to the top of Group B along with Knockalla Cup finalists, Letterkenny Rovers.
Derry took the lead in the 38th minute when George Kelly met Aiden McCauley’s corner and placed his header into the top corner.
The visitors extended their lead in the 65th minute when substitute Rory Holden, who was on only a matter of minutes, fired home from 25 yards.
