Bishop Street courthouse in Derry
The 44-year-old has been charged with driving with excess alcohol in breath, common assault, driving while disqualified and a number of other driving-related offences.
He is due to appear before Derry Magistrates’ Court on Monday, July 7, for a first remand hearing.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
