Are you a BER assessor looking to use your expertise in a more hands-on, homeowner-focused way?

Irwin Consulting Ltd in Buncrana Co. Donegal are seeking a BER-qualified professional to join our team – not to carry out assessments but to guide homeowners through the energy upgrade journey. You’ll be their key point of contact, offering expert advice, managing retrofit projects and ensuring every step runs smoothly under SEAI’s Home Energy Upgrade scheme.

Your role:

  • Provide tailored advice on energy upgrades and grant options.
  • Support homeowners from initial consultation through to project completion.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and SEAI partners.
  • Keep projects on track and clients informed at each stage.
  • Be the knowledgeable and friendly point of contact throughout the process.

Experience necessary:

  • BER Assessor qualification (you won’t be calculating BER certificates in this role).
  • Strong knowledge of retrofit options and SEAI processes.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Project coordination or management experience is a bonus.
  • A proactive, organised and solution-oriented approach.

See below for details on how to apply:
